In 2010, the number of clown costumes sold at a single costume shop was 13. By 2015, that number had grown to 22. Assuming a constant increase in clown costume sales, calculate the average rate of change from 2010 to 2015. Round your answer to the nearest tenth.

We will have that the average rate of change will be:

m=(22-13)/(2015-2010)\Rightarrow m=1.8

So, the average rate of change was 1.8 clown costumes per year.
