FOR SUM WE ADD


{ (- 2)}^(2) + ( - 18) \\ = 4 - 18 \\ = - 14

We have to solve an addition of two numbers. The first one seems to be the square of -2, an the number -18 is the other one.

So we have: (-2)^2 - 18 = 4 -18 = -14
