The muscle contraction is the process of it shortening or lengthening to do some activity, being any time that it occurs the magnitude of the force applied is greater than the muscle produces makes that muscle get longer, however it is not a case that always happens since there is different types of results for the muscle contraction (isometric, isotonic, and concentric). Therefore, it can not be affirmed that 100% of the times that a muscle cantracts it gets longer, being the sentence false.
