To find the volume of the composite, you must find the volume for the cylinder and the volume for the cone.

After having the volume for both of them you must substract the volume of the cone form the volume of the cylinder.

Volume of the cylinder


\begin{gathered} V=\pi\cdot r^2\cdot h \\ V=\pi\cdot(6^2)\cdot9 \\ V=324\pi \end{gathered}

Volume of the cone


\begin{gathered} V=(\pi)/(3)\cdot r^2\cdot h \\ V=108\pi \end{gathered}

Volume of the composite


\begin{gathered} V=324\pi-108\pi \\ V=216\pi \\ V=678.6 \end{gathered}

the volume of the composite will be approximately 678.6 cubic feet
