Given:

Slope of line is 4 and passing point is (- 4,7)

To find: Equation of the line.

The equation of the line passing through slope m and point (a,b) is:

y-b=m(x-a)

According to our question,we have:

m=4

(a,b)=( - 4,7)

Substituting the values,we get:

\begin{gathered} y-7=4(x-(-4) \\ y-7=4(x+4) \\ y-7=4x+16 \\ y=4x+16+7 \\ y=4x+23 \end{gathered}

Equation of line : y=4x+23

option (a) is correct.
