Since 2 players have 3 donuts, then

To find the number of donuts for 12 players we will use the ratio method

Donuts: Players

3. : 2

d. : 12

By using the cross multiplication

\begin{gathered} d*2=3*12 \\ 2d=36 \end{gathered}

Divide both sides by 2

\begin{gathered} (2d)/(2)=(36)/(2) \\ d=18 \end{gathered}

We need 18 donuts for 12 players

The right answer is (3)
