To solve the equation we should separate x on one side and the number on the other side, so we will subtract both sides by 4/3 x

$\begin{gathered} (1)/(3)x-(4)/(3)x-5=(4)/(3)x-(4)/(3)x+4 \\ -(3)/(3)x-5=4 \\ -x-5=4 \end{gathered}$

Now we need to add both sides by 5
