In order to calculate the value of x, we can use the sine relation of angle x.

The sine relation is equal to the length of the opposite leg to the angle over the length of the hypotenuse.

So we have:


\begin{gathered} \sin (x)=(RS)/(QS) \\ \sin (x)=(4.8)/(5.5) \\ \sin (x)=0.8727 \\ x=\sin ^(-1)(0.8727) \\ x=60.78\degree \end{gathered}

Therefore the value of x is 60.78°.
