Applying the property of logarithm;


log(AB)=logA+logB

Hence,

Also, applying the property of logarithm:


log\text{ }a^x=xlog\text{ }a

Hence,


log\text{ }y+log\text{ }z^2=log\text{ }y+2logz

Therefore,
