In this problem, we have the function

y=|x| -----> vertex is at (0,0)

The rule of the translation is given by

(x,y) -----> (x-3,y)

so

the translation is 3 units at the left

the new vertex is at (-3,0)

therefore

the new function is

y=|x+3|
