When you remove heat from a fluid (a gas or a liquid), how do the molecules ofthe fluid react? What happens to the volume of the fluid?

EXPLANATION

When heated, all three states of matter extend. The molecules do not multiply on their own, but the space they take up does. The molecules vibrate more quickly.
