The Volume formula of square pyramid is :

V=(1)/(3)b^2h

where V = volume

b = base length

h = height

From the problem,

V = 32 cubic feet

b = 4 feet

The height will be :

\begin{gathered} 32=(1)/(3)(4)^2(h) \\ 32*3=16h \\ (32*3)/(16)=h \\ h=6 \end{gathered}

The answer is 6 feet
