46.3*0.8\rightarrow463*8\rightarrow3704

Now, we add up the amount of decimals in our two initial numbers. In this case, that sum would be two

Laslty, we take the result of our multiplication and take those same two decimals:


3704\rightarrow37.04

Therefore,
