The formula given is:

a=\text{gmb}

We want to solve for b.

This means we want b = something.

We have to isolate b.

In order to isolate b (on the right hand side), we have to gt rid of "g" and "m", multiplied with it. For that, we divide BOTH sides by "gm". Then we get an expression for b. Shown below:

\begin{gathered} a=\text{gmb} \\ (a)/(gm)=(gmb)/(gm) \\ (a)/(gm)=b \end{gathered}

We can, thus, say:

b=(a)/(gm)

Final Answer.
