Given: the garden has a shape of a rectangle

The garden has a length of 8 feet by 3 feet

So, the area of the garden =

8\cdot3=24ft^2

she wants to use 9 square feet for tulips.

So, the remaining for rest of her flowers = 24 - 9 = 15 square feet
