My tutors keep getting cut off due to connection and i need help!!

Let:

(x1,y1) = (0,4)

(x2,y2) = (4,0)

The slope m is:


\begin{gathered} m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)=(0-4)/(4-0)=(-4)/(4)=-1 \\ \end{gathered}

Using the point slope equation:


\begin{gathered} y-y1=m(x-x1) \\ y-4=-1(x-0) \\ y=-x+4 \\ \text{ In standard form:} \\ x+y=4 \end{gathered}
