Given :

At the farmer market : a bag of 8 oranges cost $3.44

At the grocery store : a bag of 20 oranges cost $8.4

So, the unit rate at the farmer market = 3.44/8 = $0.43/ orange

And the unit rate at the grocery store = 8.4/20 = $0.42/ orange

So, the better deal is the grocery store

how much is saved ?

the saving = 0.43 - 0.42 = $0.01/ orange
