In the given figure : lines l and m are parallel and a, b are transversal

Since, the lines a and b are parallel and l act as a transversal.

Then,


\begin{gathered} \angle BAC=\angle ACb\text{ (alternate interior angles)} \\ \text{ Substitute the values} \\ 2x=46 \\ x=(46)/(2) \\ x=23 \end{gathered}

x = 23

Answer : x = 23
