Given a right angle triangle

As shown:

Given ∠58

the opposite side to the angle = 22

The adjacent side to the angle = x

So,

\begin{gathered} \tan 58=\frac{\text{opposite}}{\text{adjacent}} \\ \\ \tan 58=(22)/(x) \end{gathered}

solve for x:

x=(22)/(\tan 58)\approx13.747

round to the nearest whole number

So, the answer will be x = 14
