The slope of the line is:

m=-(3)/(5)

To find the slope of a line with two points, P and Q, the formula is:

\begin{gathered} P=(x_p,y_p);Q=(x_q,y_q) \\ m=(y_p-y_q)/(x_p-x_q) \end{gathered}

Then if P = (-4, 1) and Q = (1, -2)

We can replace inthe formula:

m=(1-(-2))/(-4-1)=-(3)/(5)
