How to graph y=3-4x

I have tried (0,3) (3,-9) and other possibilities, but they won't work

Answer:

This is a linear function and you have to rewrite the equation to the standard form y= mx+q, so y= -4x + 3 where -4 is m and tells you the slope of the function while 3 tells you where it intercepts the y axis. Now you have to write the points of the function taking some x values and obtaining the relative y. For example if x is 0 then y= 3-4(0) which is equal to 3. If x is 1 y is -1, if X is 2 then y is -5 and you continue like that until you want. However, to draw the line you could just stop to two points.
