Okay so 5x - 3=2 so add 3 to both sides so 5x= 5 and divide both sides by 5 and get x=1 as the answer
Second answer is 5x-3=-2 and add 3 to both sides and get 5x= -5 and divide both sides by 5 and get x=-1
ANSWER: x=1 and x=-1
