Jorge says there are 198 inches in 5.5 yards. Is he correct. Explain your answer. Show your work.

Yes, he is correct, because if in one yard is 36 inches, and half a yard is 18 inches, if you multiply 36 by 5, you get 180. Then add the half yard of 18 to have 5.5 yards, or 198 inches. :)
