If a population had no phenotypic variation, why would we not expect natural selection to act on this population?.

Answer:We would not expect natural selection as the phenotype is the actual difrent traits presented {such as blue eyes} while the genotype {witch in this situation is diffrent} is the actual genes the person has. Genetic evolution/natural selection only works if one group is more likly to survive than the other. if difrences are not present then no group will be more likly to survive more.
