b) __ x 3 = 180
c) __ / (-7) = (-14)
d) __ / (-9) = 6

Think of it like trying to get your “missing number” by itself. To do that, you need to “undo” what is being done to it.

For example, in the first one, the number is being multiplied by -4; therefore, divide both sides of the equation by -4 to get the missing number on its own.
