Explanation: Human cheek cells stained and mounted in glycerine were observed with the help of a compound microscope. The stain that could be used is Methylene blue. Methylene blue stains negatively charged molecules in the cell, including DNA and RNA.

The components of the cell which would be seen are the nucleus, plasma membrane, and cytoplasm.
