Whooping cough
whooping disease, is an extremely infectious respiratory syndrome. It is produced by the bacterium Bordetella pertussis. Pertussis is recognized for stubborn, violent coughing which often makes it difficult to breathe. Once you become infected with the whooping disease, it takes about seven to 10 days for symptoms and signs to seem, though it can seldom take longer.
