Why 22/7 is a rational number while π is not?

Rational number definition- Any number that can be written as a ratio or fraction of two numbers.

22/7 is a rational number because it is any two numbers that are written as a fraction.

π, pi, on the other hand, is a number with a decimal that goes on forever. You can't put π, pi, over or under a number as a fraction or ratio, because π, pi, is infinite. π, pi, is 3.145........................... and goes on forever.
