Give three food safety guidelines for using cutting boards and explain the reasons behind them.​

One safety guideline is cross contamination. Especially when using raw meat a chopping board must be washed after every use.

Avoid wooden boards. When cutting raw meat on a wooden board it soaks into the board and cannot be fully cleaned.

Cutting boards contain bacteria that isn't washed off therefore affecting your food.
