Mary is going to sell her cakes at a bake sale. She spent $52 on supplies, and she is going to sell her cakes for $12 each. How many cakes does she need to sell to make a profit. Solve the inequality, and answer in a complete sentence. Let x= the number of cakes.

Mary would need to sell 5 cakes to make a profit because that makes 60 dollars which is 6 dollars more than 54, which is what she spent. 12 times 5 = 60
