What are two of the major weaknesses of the Articles of Confederation?

Congress didn’t have the power to regulate a lot of foreign commerce. There wasn’t a executive branch to enforce any of the laws that were made. Plus there wasn’t a National court system back then.

There were more weaknesses than there were strengths when it comes to the Articles of Confederation. It gave Congress very little power. It gave them the power to pass laws but not the power to enforce them. It also made it to where they couldn’t regulate trade or levy taxes.
