Answer:

In “My Forbidden Face” by Latifa Narguesse was not killed by the Guards because the other women did not want to leave until she arrived. In the following part: " Luckily for her, one of the Talibs guarding the shack came to warn his superiors that we were refusing to leave until she returned. After hesitating for a moment, they pushed outside." It is implied that they decide not to kill her because of the other women. In the case the women did not refused to leave, she would have been dead.
