Answer: GoodMorning: ) ✨ So It was used as an announcement of a new nation's founding, as a diplomatic appeal for recognition, as a statement of political philosophy and as a call to defend liberty at home and abroad. Today, as our democracy comes under pressure at home and from hostile actors abroad, the Declaration is as relevant as ever.Unlike the other founding documents, the Declaration of Independence is not legally binding, but it is powerful. Abraham Lincoln called it “a rebuke and a stumbling-block to tyranny and oppression.” It continues to inspire people around the world to fight for freedom and equality.
