Why do you think that Paleo-Indians lived/moved in large groups?

Answer:

During the winter, coastal fishing groups moved inland to hunt and trap fresh food and furs. Late ice-age climatic changes caused plant communities and animal populations to change. Groups moved from place to place as preferred resources were depleted and new supplies were sought.

They most likely moved/lived in large groups to stay safe from enemies, so they have many people to have fight if, and when they do.
