Can someone pls help me I need to know if I am correct

If you have the fraction - 8/5 (the negative sign is not on either 8 or 5) it means that both numbers are negative right?

Yes, that means the whole fraction is negative.

Also for future note, if the negative is on the top or bottom, the fraction will still be negative. Unless it says to simplify.
