Explain how the following quotes are ironic or bitterly sarcastic.

"...child, which roasted whole, will make a considerable figure at a lord mayor's feast or at any other public entertainment."
"...the charge of nursing a beggar's child…to be about two shillings per annum, rags included..."

Answer: The first sentence is bitterly sarcastic because He made this statement to get a reaction from the people and show them the value of human life.

The second sentence is ironic because it is talking about the charge of nursing a beggars child
