Since you didn't say how much of the yield Jacob gave to the restaurant or the neighbor, I'm going to assume he kept an even share and gave them each the same share.

Assuming that, we would have to divide his harvest by 3

48/3 = 16

this means that 16 went to his neighbor, 16 to the restaurant and 16 were saved for himself.
