the number of kilo gram of water in human body varies directly as the mass of the body. A 96kg person contains 64kg of water. how many kilo gram of water are in a 60kg person? (show your solution)​

Hi there,
Body weight = k x Water content
k = constant of proportionality
96 = k 64
k = 96/64
k = 1.5
Body weight = 1.5 Water content
60 = 1.5 Water content
Water content = 60/1.5
Water content = 40 kg.
