Explanation:

The bottom row is how many mph the driver is over, the left row is how much it costs per mph over. Since 62mph in a 55mph zone is 7mph over, you go the 7 on the bottom, and go up until you get to the point, then see what the number on the left is. In this case, it would be 100. So therefore the fine is $100.
