Can someone explain to me how to find scaled factors as simply as they can?

Answer:

The formula for scale factor is: Scale factor = Dimension of the new shape ÷ Dimension of the original shape

To simplify the ratio just reduce it to the simplist form.

Divide each number in the ratio by the same amount to get the answer.
