I’m confused on how to solve this for gross pay :(

Ted worked 40 hours last week and earned $1200. 40% of his pay is from commission. How much did Ted earn in commission? What is his hourly wage?

720 divided by 40 = 18

Answers = 480 from commissions and his hourly pay is $18 h
