Jason and Bill share a bookshelf in their room. Jason has four more than twice as many books as Bill, and there are 22 books on the shelf. How many of the books belong to Jason and how many belong to Bill?​

Answer:

Jason has 16 books

Bill has 6 books

Step-by-step explanation: you take bill (b) add it to 2 times bill so (b+2b) which gets you three b. Then you take that 3b, but first you have to minus four from both sides; so now you have 3b=18. Then divide by three on both sides and you get six as bills number of books. Then add ten and that will give you Jason’s number of books
