Mr. Lockwood likes to garden. In his garden, he has already 5 potatoes and he grows 2 more every year. He also already had 20 tomatoes to start with, but for some reason he loses 3 each year. When will he have the same amount of potatoes and tomatoes? How many of each will he have at the time he has the same amount? Write and equation to represent both vegetables.
