Mostly around France and Belgium such as the battles of Verdun or Sommer but there were great battles everywhere like the 12 battles of the Isonzo River, the gallipoli campaign, and the African front of Tanzania where German guerrillas persisted till the end of the war. Nearly on every front, there were critical battles.
