using the richter magnitude scale, what is the lowest earthquake magnitude where you would expect to encounter significant (but not catastrophic) property damage?

A magnitude of 1.5 is the lowest, smaller earthquakes usually cause more damage than bigger depth will be very important as the amount of ground shaking drops off quickly with increasing more friction and depth.
