\bf F_g = 12NFg=12N:- downward force


\bf F_p = 15NFp=15N:- rightward force


\bf F_f = 3NFf=3N:-leftward force

The net vertical force is 0, because the upward and downward force are the same.

The magnitude of the net force is then calculated as follows:


\bf F_(Net) = +F_p


\bf F_fFNet=+Fp−Ff


\bf F_(Net) = +15N


\bf 3NFNet=+15N−3N


\bf F_(Net) = 12NFNet=12N
