How do i solve the equation A=ew except "e" looks distorted and A=117in²

i believe A is the area of the rectangle, distorted 'e' is the length

I think you're correct! If you could send a picture, it would be much clearer. But, A would be area (since it is in square units) and e would be length. w would be the width.
