Certain animals that live in desert habitats have very large ears and are nocturnal. Explain how their adaptations allow them to live in their environment.

Animals with large ears adopted to their environment to survive the harsh conditions of living, for example, the Fennec Fox adapts to it's living conditions by having big ears, the big ears allow for easier air flow of cool air.

Another adaptation is to store water in their bladders for later use, this allows them to cover up for the lack lf water in the desert.

Another adaptation is how their increased amount of fur keeps them warm in the night and at daytime, cool.

Lastly their ability to hunt at night makes it easier as the desert region is mostly cooler as opposed to daytime, this allowed them to easily hunt and prey for food.
