Simplification of polynomials

To simplify a polynomial as much as possible, group all like terms and rearrange them from highest to lowest power.

Expand the distribution of terms.

4 ✖ 3 ➕ 4 ✖ ➖4x

Multiply 4 by 3.

12 ➕ 4 ✖ 4x

Multiply 4 by ➖4x.

12 ➖ 16x

herefore in exercise 4(3 - 4x) the answer or solution is 12-16x. so the correct option is alternative "C".
