Acceptance can be shown for others who are different from us by simply having an open mind. Though it is a simple concept, it can be a lot harder than it seems. Going into a new relationship whether it be as a classmate, friend, or partner can always be challenging if they are different from you. However, knowing that you don't know everything and being willing to learn about what others have more knowledge in than you can help you more deeply understand others.
